How does my listing get accepted?

Butter Classics prides itself on bringing original buttery classic cars and trucks to our customers for a fair price(we started as collectors and will always be enthusiasts). That being said, we go through a diligence process with you to be sure that your vehicle meets the Butter Classic standard. Once we know your vehicle well, we will work with you to appraise your vehicle to bring both you and the buyer the most value.

When you sell with Butter Classics, your vehicle is marketed across the internet with global reach. Our email marketing, SMS, Social Media, and Marketplace syndication brings real buyers fast.

Sale Management

What is your sale management? How much do I handle in selling my vehicle with you?

We will handle the sales process from start to finish. Meaning we will communicate with all potential buyers. We will save you time and find a real verified buyer for your vehicle. This also means that we will handle negotiating the price but will not go any lower than the mutually agreed to minimum sale price that we covered when your vehicle listing was submitted.

Why do you verify buyers identities?

By confirming the identity of customers we can prevent fraudulent activity while minimizing friction for legitimate customers.

Payments and Fees

How do I receive payment for purchase and what is that process?

When we have found a serious buyer, we will take them through our presale process. During this process we will verify their identity, verify method of payment, and make sure all of their questions have been addressed. At the time of payment, we automatically deduct our 10% sale fee from the purchase price of the vehicle and the remaining balance is transferred to your bank account. How quickly do I receive payment?

The seller will receive payment within 3-5 business days. Typically you will see the money incoming into your bank account within 48hours.

How do your fees work?

Upfront fees: pay a $99 listing fee, with the option to add ourfor an additional $250.

‍Post-sale fees: You pay a 10% fee of the final sale price, that is automatically deducted during the transaction. Our sales on average go for 20% more than private party sales do to our extensive reach.

Shipping

What does your vehicle delivery process look like?

The customer can pick the vehicle up from its current location or we will facilitate shipping at additional cost to the buyer.
